Lots of young people aspire to learn more about the tech sector, but it can be difficult to access information and opportunities to act on those aspirations.

The CyberFirst programme is committed to giving young people the support that they need to achieve their goals, but we can't do this alone! We are looking for people from any tech or cyber role who could give a couple of hours of their time to support a CyberFirst event near them! Volunteering with young people, supporting their education and helping others discover a passion for cyber and tech is an incredibly rewarding experience.

Perhaps you could give a careers talk to inspire the next generation, be a mentor to help build a young person's confidence, or do something fun and practical to demonstrate the real-world applications of tech and tackle stereotypes? You don't need any prior experience, just some enthusiasm and some time to give, and we'll help you with the rest.

The CyberFirst programme works in partnership with the STEM Ambassador programme to provide support, training and DBS Checks for those who would like to volunteer with schools and young people.
